A Fantasy Scene / Phantasiebilder

A Fantasy Scene / Phantasiebilder

is the theme of the Art Journal Journey for the month of March. What a great theme! Thank you. I have been working on a series of Alfons Mucha inspired paintings, photographs and water color collages in which I try to create Fantasy Scenes! It was my idea to fill Mucha's designs with the image of a man instead of the women he used in his work. I hope you like them!

(The painting is unfinished!)

Photocopy and watercolor sketch for the painting:

And here are some others I wanted to do painting of maybe throughout the year...

This last one turned out to get a bit more abstract.....my idea here was to make my model look like a tree...
....kind of as a male version of Daphne, who transforms....metamorphosis....

Zodiac Signs / Sternzeichen

Zodiac Signs
is the theme of the Art Journal Journey for this month. It is a theme that I enjoyed much. While I was looking around for inspiration, I came up with this idea to create a page for our whole family - instead of making a page for only one of us:

Have a nice weekend!
Anie

and here are my sketches....

Hello,
the month is nearly over and it took me forever to start my work on this:

Odd Headgear - Mix it Monthly

When I first started out I was thinking about doing and ice-cream hat, but then I saw a picture of St.Basil's Cathedral in Moscow and immediately changed my mind.....and this is what happened!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

This month the Art Journal Journey is about silence.....something that I often miss in my daily routine...
as soon as I think of the word silence dandy lions come into my mind. There is nothing more peaceful to me, than to watch the seeds of the dandy lion fly.... enjoy my inner silence....

Owls

The theme of MIX IT UP MONTHLY is OWLS this months...and since I have been drawing owls all year - here is my page:

I hope you enjoyed my owls......
Have a happy new year!

And one more....

Light and Dark

Oh no,
I am sorry - I haven't been very creative on this theme.......Light and Dark..... http://art-journal-journey.blogspot.co.at/   isn't everything we see made up by light and dark, since it's all we see - aside from the colors of course....
well here is my photo:
