A Fantasy Scene / Phantasiebilder

A Fantasy Scene / Phantasiebilder

is the theme of the Art Journal Journey for the month of March. What a great theme! Thank you. I have been working on a series of Alfons Mucha inspired paintings, photographs and water color collages in which I try to create Fantasy Scenes! It was my idea to fill Mucha's designs with the image of a man instead of the women he used in his work. I hope you like them!
(The painting is unfinished!)
Photocopy and watercolor sketch for the painting:
And here are some others I wanted to do painting of maybe throughout the year...

This last one turned out to get a bit more abstract.....my idea here was to make my model look like a tree...
....kind of as a male version of Daphne, who transforms....metamorphosis....

  1. Creative, beautiful art works. Mucha can be seen in your lovely own versons.
    Love the Daphne, too.

  2. Your watercolour is so attractive and what a lovely composition. I like the blue and red circle designs and then the large circle design.

  7. Wunderbare Bilder! Die Skizze sieht schon toll aus ... aber das Gemälde ... auch wenn noch nicht fertig ... sieht jetzt schon wunderschön aus! Gefällt mir sehr!
